Like Dropbox and SkyDrive, Google Drive is integrated with OS X creating a folder mother in which to store files and subfolders. These will be synchronized automatically with Google Drive. Thus you can access these files from any computer using your Google account.
Google Drive supports all types of file, but in the case of Google Docs documents, open them without problems directly from the web browser. Moreover, documents already created here will appear to have them on your Mac, and activate the offline option, you will not need Internet connection to edit them.
